This project is located along the Petaluma River from Corona Road 1,500 feet south to the Northwestern Pacific Railroad.  The project will include the selective removal of trees and debris from the active channel and non-native Himalayan blackberry from selected areas above top of bank.  Native trees will be used for revegetation.

The purpose of this project is to alleviate flooding problems in residential and business areas adjacent to the Petaluma River from Corona Road to the Northwest Pacific Railroad (approximately 5,700 feet). The project will also improve fish and wildlife habitat.
