Location Description Guadalupe River, Guadalupe Creek, Ross Creek

Remove invasive exotic riparian vegetation and replace with native riparian vegetation derived from parent stock within same watershed.  Improve instream habitat for state- and federally- listed species with local woody debris placement and spawning gravel replenishment from upstream reservoir.

Goals: Improve the quality of existing riparian habitat along the Guadalupe River and tributaries Guadalupe Creek and Ross Creek by removing invasive, exotic trees, shrubs and ivy, and installing native vegetation from locally-derived stock of the same watershed. Improve instream habitat for the federally listed steelhead trout and state listed western pond turtle. Protect recently completed riparian restoration projects and the greater Guadalupe watershed from invasive plants.
