Appendix C: Approach to Integration

In order to develop a comprehensive integration process for the Bay Area Integrated Regional Water Management Plan (IRWMP), several other regional water management efforts were surveyed to understand how each approaches integration so that the Bay Area might benefit from their experience. The results of this survey, combined with the explicit and implied integration requirements of the  Proposition 50 Chapter 8 “Integrated Regional Water Management Grant Program” Guidelines, provide  the basis for the recommended strategies for integration to be identified in the IRWMP.
