Bay Area Clean Water Agencies

 

The Bay Area Clean Water Agencies (BACWA) is an association comprised of local governmental agencies that own and operate publicly owned treatment works (POTWs) which discharge to the waters of San Francisco Bay Estuary. Together, BACWA’s members serve more than 6 million people in the nine-county Bay Area, treating all domestic and commercial wastewater and a significant amount of industrial wastewater.
